OUR STORY
From Local Gathering to National Landmark

THE JOURNEY
House Musiq Fest in Eswatini has grown from a small local gathering in 2019 into one of the country's most anticipated annual cultural events, held mainly in Manzini and Matsapha. It has become a cornerstone of Eswatini's entertainment calendar, blending house music, local pride, and regional tourism.
The festival was launched by Swazi Boy Entertainment, a local events company known for promoting house music culture. The inaugural event was hosted at Esibayeni Lodge in Matsapha, attracting a mix of local DJs, regional acts, and enthusiastic crowds. The vision was to create a platform for house music lovers in Eswatini and neighboring countries, while also boosting tourism and nightlife culture.
By 2024, House Musiq Fest was marketed as "the warmest festival in Eswatini," symbolizing its role in opening the entertainment calendar each year. It attracted not only Swazi audiences but also visitors from South Africa and Mozambique. The lineup expanded to include regional and international DJs, strengthening its reputation as a cross-border cultural event.
House Musiq Fest has become a celebration of Swazi pride, blending international house beats with local cultural flavor. It attracts visitors from neighboring countries, boosting hospitality and local businesses. The festival is not just about music—it integrates food, fashion, and games, creating a holistic cultural experience.
